Dr. Henry Der, Dr. Mike Zuk, Dr. Hussien Bapoo, and our staff enjoy getting to know each patient and their families and love creating strong relationships with clients that last multiple generations. Learn a little more about our dental team here:
DR. HENRY DER DMD
Dr. Der graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1988. He has been a dedicated dentist in the Red Deer area, providing his patients with excellent knowledge and education about dentistry and oral health. Dr. Der is able to perform a wide range of dental services. Many other dentists refer their patients to him for root canal therapy and surgical extractions, that would otherwise require a specialist. The Sleepy Smile™ program is Dr. Der’s sedation system which offers nervous patients a way to relax while having their dental treatment completed.
DR. MICHAEL W. ZUK DDS
Dr. Zuk graduated from Pacific Dugoni in San Francisco for dentistry. He is an undergrad at the University of Oregon. His hobbies include mountain biking, snowboarding, ice fishing, and ATV-ing. Anything outdoors, Dr. Zuk enjoys! He has grown up in Red Deer and excited to be a part of the growing community of Sylvan Lake to provide top-notch dentistry.
DR. HUSSEIN BAPOO DDS
Dr. Bapoo graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2012. Providing the best dental care to his patients with thoroughness, patience, gentleness, and care is his goal. Dr. Bapoo's passion lies in all aspects of dentistry, with working on children being very close to his heart. Dr. Bapoo is a proud father to a cute 3-year-old daughter. In his free time, he loves watching Disney movies with his daughter. He enjoys playing badminton and playing video games.
DR. TERRY MAH
Dr. Mah graduated from University of Alberta in 1986. As a general dentist, Dr. Mah has developed his main focus on orthodontics. With over 25 years’ experience, he has helped hundreds of people to create a nicer smiles. He enjoys gardening in his spare time and sharing memories with his daughter. He’s excited to offer orthodontics to the Sylvan Lake community.
DR. TYSON ALLRED
Dr. Tyson Allred grew up in Red Deer. He was quite involved in sports and music and had a well-rounded upbringing. After graduating from Lindsay Thurber, he worked for a year before spending two years in France. Tyson was married before his first year of post-secondary education at Red Deer College, after which he continued his undergraduate studies for another year at the University of Saskatchewan. Tyson was accepted early into the School of Dentistry there and began his studies while raising a young family of two children. After Dental school, Dr. Allred was accepted into a GPR program through the University of Alberta at the Foothills hospital, where he received added experience and training in surgery as well as IV sedation credentialing.

Dr. Allred is experienced in all facets of general dentistry but has a keen focus on sedation, surgery, implants, and full mouth reconstruction. Now accepting new patients.
